Ninite Solution has been tested with the following versions of ConnectWise Automate.

• ConnectWise Automate 12

Oracle Java Statement
Previous Ninite Pro discontinued support for Oracle Java as part of the “Java” Applications as Oracle introduced a $2.50 per user per month charge for updates for non-personal use and implemented two alternative options (Amazon Corretto and AdoptOpenJDK) created from the same source code.

Recently they’ve re-introduced support Oracle’s Java 8 for those that meet the updated licensing agreements or have an active Java SE Subscription in the form of two new applications.

• Java (Oracle) 8

• Java (Oracle) x64 8

As stated by Ninite, these applications should continue to work through December 2020

Using Oracle Java

If you’re planning on using these new applications you will be prompted when enabling approvals verifying that you have read and understood the new Licensing agreement provided by Oracle and as they are not part of the “Java” applications if you have Java 8 set to Uninstall and Java (Oracle) 8 set to Install and Update the two products should not conflict!
