To Access the Global Settings open the Dashboard and Navigate Config -> Integration -> Ninite Solution -> Prompt to Close


Note

To access these settings you must be logged in with a user that has System Config or Super Admin rights.

Prompt to Close will trigger a Pop-Up Message on the Remote computer during application maintenance notifying the user that an application that is in use and cannot be currently updated giving them the option for Ninite Solution to close the application and continue with the update process.

Prompt to Close TextText

The text that will be displayed to the user, use @niniteAppSelectName@ to display a friendly name for the application that is currently in use.

The prompt will automatically time out after 90 seconds at which time the answer the prompt with value specified. 


Info

Prompt to Close requires the following conditions to be met.

  • LabTech tray icon is running on the target computer
  • A User is logged in to the computer at the time of Application Maintenance


Note

Prompt to close will forcefully terminate processes associated with the in use application which may result in the loss of any unsaved data, once the update has been completed the application will not automatically be re-launched noted in the application list below.
